Every classic dungeon boost you remember is still in WoW Forever, and they still do most of the pre-60 gearing work. Ragefire Chasm through Stratholme all return, and the runs people actually buy have not changed either: the Stratholme Baron run on the undead side, Blackrock Depths for the Emperor or a lava run, the Dire Maul tribute run, and Scarlet Monastery by wing rather than as a whole. Those are listed separately on this page because they are sold separately everywhere in this market, and collapsing them into one 'Stratholme' listing would hide the difference between a twenty-minute run and a two-hour one.

One thing nobody can tell you yet

Whether Blizzard has retuned classic dungeon level ranges for Forever is not confirmed. We would rather say that here than publish a level table that turns out to be wrong in November. Sellers quoting exact brackets for classic instances are working from Classic values, which is a reasonable assumption and still an assumption — worth a question in the order thread if the timing of a run matters to your leveling plan.

Wings, short runs and full clears

A wing is not a clear and a short run is not either. Scarlet Monastery splits into Graveyard, Library, Armoury and Cathedral; Maraudon into orange, purple and the Princess run; Blackrock Spire into Lower and Upper. Check which one a listing actually covers before comparing its price against another — the most common complaint in this category is a buyer expecting a full clear and buying a wing.

Frequently asked questions

Are the classic dungeons still in WoW Forever?

Yes. The original list from Ragefire Chasm to Stratholme remains in the game and remains the backbone of pre-60 gearing, alongside the nine dungeons new to Forever.

Have the classic dungeon level ranges changed?

Not confirmed either way. Blizzard has not published retuned ranges for Forever, so any exact bracket you see quoted for a classic instance is carried over from Classic. We have chosen not to publish a level table we cannot stand behind.

What is a Baron run?

The undead side of Stratholme, run against the Baron Rivendare timer. It is sold separately from the living (Scarlet) side because it is a different job with a different length, and it is one of the most-requested classic runs there is.

What is the difference between a wing and a full clear?

A wing is one section — Scarlet Monastery's Cathedral, or Maraudon's purple side. A full clear is the whole instance. They are priced very differently, so check which a listing covers before you compare it against another seller's.

Can I get a specific item from a classic dungeon?

Ask for a targeted rerun rather than a clear. Sellers price by outcome, so a listing aimed at one drop is a different order from a single clear — agree the scope in the order thread before paying, and your money stays in escrow until it is delivered.
