East is the Dire Maul wing that does not demand anything unusual: a straightforward route through overgrown courtyards and the Warpwood, with Pusillin's chase sequence as its one memorable quirk. It is the cheapest of the three and the one most often bought as a single clear rather than a chain, which makes it the sensible introduction to an instance whose other two wings are considerably more involved.
East is also where the route into Dire Maul West's library content begins for characters going after the Shen'dralar. If that is your goal, buy the wings in order or buy them together — a seller who knows the chain will route it properly, and the sequence is one of the less obvious pieces of Classic knowledge that a booked run actually buys you.
Whether you want the clear or the associated chain, and whether you intend to continue into West. Those answers change what a seller quotes. At 55–60 this wing also overlaps Blackmaw Hold, the new 55–60 Forever dungeon, so if you are gearing rather than questing it is worth comparing the two on the same evening rather than assuming the classic instance is the better use of it.
East on its own is a modest purchase. East bought as the first leg of a full Dire Maul chain is a different proposition, because the travel to Feralas is paid once and the three wings together cover a serious portion of a 55–60 gearing list. If you expect to want West or North at all, ask for the chain price up front rather than booking the cheapest wing and deciding later.

The shortest and most approachable of the three — a straightforward route through the Warpwood, with Pusillin's chase as its one quirk.
The route toward the Shen'dralar library content begins here, so if West is the goal it is worth buying the wings in order or together.
They overlap at 55–60. If you are gearing rather than questing, compare them directly — Blackmaw Hold is new, and neither outclasses the other given Forever's blue dungeon ceiling.
55–60 in Classic, as with the other wings. Forever's retuning is unconfirmed.
