The run where killing less pays more
Dire Maul North rewards a group for reaching King Gordok with as many of the wing's named ogres still alive as possible. Each one left standing improves the tribute chest at the end. That inverts everything else in this category: speed and damage are not the skill, route discipline and knowing exactly which patrols can be avoided are. It is the single most knowledge-dependent run in Classic, and therefore the one where the gap between a seller and a pug is widest.
The ogre suit, and what a full tribute is worth
The wing is also the source of the Gordok Ogre Suit, which allows a character to move through the area disguised, and of a reputation path with the Gordok that has its own following. A full tribute run delivers the maximum chest contents; a partial one delivers less. That makes 'a tribute run' a promise about an outcome rather than about a route, and it is worth agreeing how many bosses are expected to be left alive before you pay.
Why this is the best argument for buying a carry
Most dungeon boosts save you time. This one saves you an outcome you almost certainly cannot achieve alone, because a group that does not know the route will kill something on the way and reduce the reward permanently for that run. If any classic dungeon service on this site is worth paying a premium for, it is this one — and the premium should buy a stated tribute level, in writing, not just a completed run.
Verifying it afterwards
The good news about a tribute run is that the result is visible: the chest contents tell you whether the tribute level was achieved. That makes this a clean order to confirm despite its complexity, and it means a seller who states a tribute level in the listing is making a checkable promise rather than a vague one. Prefer those listings. Escrow releases on your confirmation, and here you can actually see what you got.
