Region, faction and mode — there are no realms
WoW Forever does away with the server list. Characters are grouped by region (US or EU), faction (Alliance or Horde) and mode — PvE, PvP or RP — and that trio is the whole address a seller needs. Faction is the constraint that catches people out: gold cannot cross it by mail, by trade or through the auction house, so an offer from a Horde-only seller is simply undeliverable to an Alliance character however good the rate looks. Set all three above and the page narrows to offers that can actually reach you.
Mode matters less for the gold itself and more for the handover. On a PvP realm a face-to-face trade in a contested zone is an opportunity for somebody else, which is why most sellers working PvP modes will only meet in a capital city or will mail it instead. Delivery method is listed on every card: face-to-face, guild bank, or mail.

Does faction matter when buying gold?
Yes, and it is the one thing buyers most often get wrong. Gold cannot be mailed or traded between Alliance and Horde, so a seller who only plays Horde cannot deliver to your Alliance character at all. WoW Forever has no realms, so region, faction and mode is the full address a seller needs — pick your faction in the selector above and you will only see offers that can actually reach you.
How is the gold delivered?
Three ways, and sellers state which they support. Face-to-face means you meet in game and the seller trades it to you directly. Guild bank means it is deposited for you to withdraw. Mail means it arrives in the post, usually split across several sends for larger amounts. Face-to-face is the slowest to arrange and the one most sellers prefer for large amounts.
Is buying WoW Forever gold against the rules?
Yes. Selling in-game gold for real money breaches Blizzard's terms of service, and the penalty — up to a permanent account closure — falls on the account that receives it, not only on the seller. Blizzard said so directly for WoW Forever in September 2026: it will increasingly take action against buyers' accounts, removing the gold and, where it chooses, closing the account. Is there a WoW Token in WoW Forever?
No. Blizzard has said WoW Forever launches without the WoW Token and has no plans to add one, so there is no official way to buy gold. That is why a market like this one exists, and it is also why the account risk above is real: every purchase of gold for money in Forever is outside Blizzard's rules.
