Terms of service

These terms are a working draft written for the launch of the marketplace. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and they will change before real money moves.

1. What Elitist Gaming is

Elitist Gaming runs a marketplace. Independent sellers offer services for World of Warcraft: Forever; we provide the storefront, take payment, hold it until the order completes, and resolve disputes. When you order from an independent seller, we are not the seller and we do not perform the service ourselves. Some services are sold by our own house team, under the Elitist Gaming storefront; on those orders we are the seller.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your credentials secure. One person, one account. Seller status requires an application approved by staff and can be suspended at any time for breaking these terms.

3. Orders and payment

Placing an order authorises us to charge the listed amount. We hold that payment and release it to the seller after the order completes and the payout hold elapses. Sellers are paid their price minus our commission, which is shown on the seller dashboard before listing.

4. Conduct

  • No payment or communication arranged to deliberately bypass the platform.
  • No fake reviews, and no incentives offered in exchange for reviews.
  • No harassment of buyers, sellers or staff.
  • No listings for services other than World of Warcraft: Forever.

5. Risk

Services bought here may breach the game publisher's own terms of service, and can lead to action against your game account. You accept that risk. Our escrow protects your payment, not your account standing.

6. Disputes

Either party may open a dispute before an order completes. Staff decide based on the order record, and the decision is final on the platform. This does not remove any statutory right you have, and it does not stop you pursuing a chargeback with your card issuer.

7. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of game account access, in-game items or time.

8. Changes

We will post material changes to these terms on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the marketplace after a change means you accept it.
