Frequently asked questions

If something here is unclear, ask in the order thread before you pay rather than after.

Is WoW Forever the same as WoW Classic Plus?

Yes, in effect. "Classic Plus" is the name the community used for years for a hypothetical expanded Classic, and WoW Forever is Blizzard's realised version of that idea — Blizzard president Johanna Faries called it exactly that ("this is Classic Plus") at its reveal. Sellers and buyers on this site use both names interchangeably for the same game.

When is my card charged?

When you place the order. The money is held by Elitist Gaming until the order completes — the seller does not receive it at checkout.

Do I have to link Discord?

No. Linking Discord lets our bot open a private channel with your seller, which is how most sellers prefer to work. If you do not link it, you message your seller in the order thread on this site instead and the order works the same way.

What if the seller never delivers?

Open a dispute from the order page. Staff read the full order history and either release the payment or refund you. Because the money is still held, a refund is straightforward.

What happens if I do nothing after delivery?

The order auto-confirms 72 hours after the seller marks it delivered. Open a dispute before that window closes if something is wrong.

How much does the platform take?

10% of each order, or 5% when the buyer came through the seller's own referral link. Sellers set their own prices; the commission is on top of nothing — it comes out of the listed price.

When do sellers get paid?

7 days after an order completes. The hold is a chargeback buffer, so a fraudulent buyer cannot leave a seller out of pocket.

Can I order before launch?

Yes. WoW Forever launches 4 November 2026 and raids unlock 9 December 2026. Sellers take bookings ahead of both, and delivery estimates on those listings are counted from the unlock rather than from your order.

Are the reviews real?

A review can only be written by the buyer of a completed order placed on this site, and only once per order. There is no way to post a review without having paid for the work.

Can I be both a buyer and a seller?

Yes. The same account can do both. Selling requires a staff-approved application; buying does not.

Is this affiliated with Blizzard?

No. Elitist Gaming is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
