WoW Forever First Aid Leveling Guide 1–300

· recipe data from the WoW Forever beta client 1.60.1.70170

First Aid is a secondary profession: it costs none of your two primary slots, and every character can level it. The route is the Classic one, bandages from the cloth humanoids drop while you level, and the Forever client has not moved any bandage's skill colours. What Forever changed is what else First Aid makes: all six healing potions moved here from Alchemy, and there are new poultices, tourniquets and an anti-venom on top.

Work in progress until launch on 4 November. Built from the beta client's recipe data, so numbers can still change. How this guide is made

    41×Linen Bandage–41Linen Cloth

Free when you learn the profession · turns yellow at 30, so the count is an average

Known from the moment you learn First Aid. Yellow from 30, so the last ten points take a few extra bandages.

  2. Train Journeyman First Aid before 75. It needs skill 50, costs 5s in Classic, and raises your cap to 150.

  3. 40–80

    56×Heavy Linen Bandage–112Linen Cloth

Trainer, at skill 40 · 1s · turns yellow at 50, so the count is an average

Two Linen Cloth each. Yellow from 50, so this step is mostly yellow; it is still the cheapest way through.

  1. 80–115

    49×Wool Bandage–49Wool Cloth

Trainer, at skill 80 · 2s 50c · turns yellow at 80, so the count is an average

  1. Expert First Aid is a book, not a trainer. Buy Expert First Aid – Under Wraps for 1g from Deneb Walker in Stromgarde, Arathi Highlands (Alliance) or Balai Lok'Wein at Brackenwall Village, Dustwallow Marsh (Horde). It needs First Aid 125 and raises your cap to 225.

  2. 150–180

    42×Silk Bandage–42Silk Cloth

Trainer, at skill 150 · 50s · turns yellow at 150, so the count is an average

  3. 180–210

    42×Heavy Silk Bandage–84Silk Cloth

  4. Artisan First Aid is the quest Triage. At skill 225 and level 35, Doctor Gregory Victor at Hammerfall, Arathi Highlands (Horde) or Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen at Theramore, Dustwallow Marsh (Alliance) gives it: a timed test treating wounded soldiers with bandages the quest supplies. About this guide

The only parts of the route that are not a trainer visit are the two rank-ups. Expert First Aid is a book bought from a vendor in the Arathi Highlands or Dustwallow Marsh, and Artisan is a timed quest at a field hospital. Both are below.

WoW Forever launches on 4 November 2026, so this guide is a work in progress. Skill colours, reagents and craft counts come from the beta client, so they are what Forever ships today but can still change, and the beta stops short of Artisan, so the top of the route is computed rather than played. Craft counts include the extra crafts a recipe needs once it turns yellow. Trainer locations and learn levels are Classic's, adjusted where Forever moved a recipe. We rebuild the guide whenever the client changes.

First Aid trainers

Any trainer starts you off and most teach Journeyman. Expert and Artisan are taught by fewer, marked in your faction's colour. Hover a coordinate for its TomTom command.

  • First Aid Kit from skill 20

    56 Stamina

  • Toxin Study from skill 140

    Holds healing potions and anti-venom

  • Plague Doctor's Laboratory from skill 300

    Holds healing potions and poultices

What Forever added to First Aid

Minor, Lesser, plain, Greater, Superior and Major Healing Potions are First Aid recipes in Forever, at the same skill colours they had as alchemy recipes, and each now takes cooking spices as well as its herb: Minor Healing Potion is a Peacebloom, Mild Spices and an Empty Vial. The Greater, Superior and Major recipes come from recipe items; where Forever teaches the first three is not settled in the data yet.

Around them are consumables Classic never had. Poultices (Simple, Clever, Superior and Powerful) are made three at a time from one reagent (Spider Ichor or a Murloc Fin early on, elemental water later), a spice and a drink. Tourniquets are made from cloth or leather and thread. Potent Anti-Venom fills the gap between Strong and Powerful Anti-Venom.

None of these is needed to reach 300, and bandages stay cheaper, but healing potions are worth having on a raider: it means a character without Alchemy can make their own.
