WoW Forever Holy Priest Talents

WoW Forever · Healer · 19/32/0 ·

The Holy Priest build we recommend for level 60 in WoW Forever, drawn on Forever's own talent trees. Forever's Holy tree is not Classic's: 4 of its 17 talents are new.

Theorycraft until launch. The trees and tooltips come from the WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70338). The beta stops at level 30, so no one has played these builds at 60 yet. We will update them after launch on 4 November.

How the 19/32/0 build works

Holy with Spiritual Guidance and Spiritual Healing maxed, plus Improved Healing, Holy Reach, Inspiration and Holy Nova. Forever's Twilight Focus is new and takes two points.

Nineteen Discipline points buy Twin Disciplines, Improved Power Word: Shield, Mental Agility, Meditation and Inner Focus.

Leveling a Holy Priest

We don't give Holy its own leveling route: most players level as another Priest spec and switch at 60. Level with one of these, one talent point a level from 10, then respec into the build above:

Questions

What are the best Holy Priest talents in WoW Forever?

Our recommended Holy Priest build is 19/32/0: Holy healing with Meditation and Inner Focus from Discipline. It is one of the Forever sim's preset builds. Nobody has played a level 60 yet, so treat it as a starting point until launch on 4 November.

Are WoW Forever's Holy talents the same as Classic's?

No. Forever's Holy tree has 17 talents, and 4 of them do not exist in Classic: Twilight Focus, Binding Heal, Litany of Light and Prayer of Mending. Another 8 have different ranks, positions or numbers. The tree is still seven rows deep, and each row still needs five points spent above it.

What is the Holy 31-point talent in WoW Forever?

Prayer of Mending, which is new in Forever. Places a spell on the target that heals them for 172 the next time they take damage or receive non-periodic healing. When the heal occurs, Prayer of Mending jumps to a party or raid member within 20 yards. Jumps up to 5 times and lasts 30 sec after each jump. This spell can only be placed on one target at a time per caster.

How should I level a Holy Priest in WoW Forever?

Level as Discipline Priest or Shadow Priest, then respec to Holy at 60. Few players level as Holy, so we give the leveling routes on those pages: one talent point a level from 10, with no respec on the way.

How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?

51 at level 60, one per level from level 10, as in Classic. The Legacy perk Talented starts them at level 5 instead, which matters for alts while levelling.

Where does this talent data come from?

From the WoW Forever beta client's own talent tables (build 1.60.1.70338), not from Classic. Every tooltip on this page is rendered from the client's spell data, and we checked them against the numbers the beta's own tooltips show. The trees can still change before launch.
