WoW Forever Marksmanship Hunter Talents

WoW Forever · Ranged DPS · 0/39/12 ·

The Marksmanship Hunter (MM Hunter) builds we recommend in WoW Forever, for raiding at 60 and for leveling from 10, drawn on Forever's own talent trees. Forever's Marksmanship tree is not Classic's: 7 of its 16 talents are new.

Theorycraft until launch. The trees and tooltips come from the WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70338). The beta stops at level 30, so no one has played these builds at 60 yet. We will update them after launch on 4 November.

Are WoW Forever's Marksmanship talents the same as Classic's?

No. Forever's Marksmanship tree has 16 talents, and 7 of them do not exist in Classic: Lethal Attacks, Improved Stings, Careful Aim, Rapid Killing, Lone Wolf, Rapid Recuperation and Sniper Shot. Another 6 have different ranks, positions or numbers. The tree is still seven rows deep, and each row still needs five points spent above it.

What is the Marksmanship 31-point talent in WoW Forever?

What is the best Marksmanship Hunter leveling build in WoW Forever?

Ours takes one point a level from 10 to 60 with no respec and ends at 19/32/0. It picks up Trueshot Aura at 30 and Sniper Shot at 40. The full order is on this page.

How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?

51 at level 60, one per level from level 10, as in Classic. The Legacy perk Talented starts them at level 5 instead, which matters for alts while levelling.

Where does this talent data come from?

From the WoW Forever beta client's own talent tables (build 1.60.1.70338), not from Classic. Every tooltip on this page is rendered from the client's spell data, and we checked them against the numbers the beta's own tooltips show. The trees can still change before launch.
