How the 38/13/0 build works
Holy to Light's Vigil, Forever's new 31-point talent, through Illumination, Divine Favor, Holy Shock and Holy Power. It takes most of Forever's new Holy talents on the way: Voice of Truth, Reverence, Purifying Power, Infusion of Light and Divine Precision.
Thirteen points in Protection buy Toughness, Precision and Guardian's Favor, with three in Anticipation. The alternative build swaps three Holy points for a deeper Protection side.
Leveling a Holy Paladin
We don't give Holy its own leveling route: most players level as another Paladin spec and switch at 60. Level with one of these, one talent point a level from 10, then respec into the build above:

Questions
What are the best Holy Paladin talents in WoW Forever?
Our recommended Holy Paladin build is 38/13/0: Holy to Light's Vigil, Guardian's Favor from Protection. It is one of the Forever sim's preset builds. Nobody has played a level 60 yet, so treat it as a starting point until launch on 4 November.
Are WoW Forever's Holy talents the same as Classic's?
No. Forever's Holy tree has 17 talents, and 8 of them do not exist in Classic: Improved Seals, Voice of Truth, Reverence, Purifying Power, Infusion of Light, Divine Precision, Consecrated Ground and Light's Vigil. Another 5 have different ranks, positions or numbers. The tree is still seven rows deep, and each row still needs five points spent above it.
What is the Holy 31-point talent in WoW Forever?
Light's Vigil, which is new in Forever. Applies Light's Vigil to the target for 30 sec. Your next Holy Shock cast on them triggers no cooldown and causes enemy targets to suffer 182 Holy damage and refund 75% of Light's Vigil's Mana cost, or allied targets to heal their party for 324. You may only have one Light's Vigil active per party.
How should I level a Holy Paladin in WoW Forever?
Level as Retribution Paladin, then respec to Holy at 60. Few players level as Holy, so we give the leveling routes on those pages: one talent point a level from 10, with no respec on the way.
How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?
51 at level 60, one per level from level 10, as in Classic. The Legacy perk Talented starts them at level 5 instead, which matters for alts while levelling.
Where does this talent data come from?
From the WoW Forever beta client's own talent tables (build 1.60.1.70338), not from Classic. Every tooltip on this page is rendered from the client's spell data, and we checked them against the numbers the beta's own tooltips show. The trees can still change before launch.
