Warriors are the class whose gear matters most. Rage comes from dealing and taking damage, so a poorly geared warrior is not only weaker, it runs out of resource. In Classic the warrior was the main tank and the largest share of melee damage in every raid, and the best weapons in the game were fought over by warriors first.
All three specs wear the same armour type and mostly the same stats on the damage side. Arms and Fury share most raid slots; the real split is two-hander against dual-wield. Protection gears for survival first and threat second.

Questions
Which warrior spec is best in WoW Forever?
Nobody can say yet. Forever has not published its talents or raid tuning. In Classic, Fury did the most raid damage and Protection was every guild's main tank, while Arms was the PvP spec. The three share armour, so changing spec mostly means changing weapons.
Do Arms and Fury warriors use the same gear?
Mostly. Both want strength, hit and crit plate. The difference is the weapon: Arms uses a slow two-hander and Fury dual-wields two one-handers.
Is there a Warrior BiS list for WoW Forever yet?
No. Raid loot is published with the raids on 9 December 2026 and the level 55–60 dungeon tables are not in the beta. Each spec page carries its stat priority now and gains its item list as each phase is datamined.
What armour and weapons can a Warrior use?
