Rogue BiS lists for WoW Forever

Rogues dual-wield, so like Fury warriors they keep wanting hit long after the special-attack cap. Leather is shared with druids, but rogues compete with hunters and warriors for most of their weapons.
The specs split on weapon type more than on armour. Combat swings swords or maces in Classic raids; Assassination and Subtlety rely on daggers for Backstab and Ambush.

Questions
Should a rogue use daggers or swords?
It depends on the spec. Combat used swords or maces in Classic raids; Assassination and Subtlety built around daggers for Backstab and Ambush.
Is there a Rogue BiS list for WoW Forever yet?
No. Raid loot is published with the raids on 9 December 2026 and the level 55–60 dungeon tables are not in the beta. Each spec page carries its stat priority now and gains its item list as each phase is datamined.
What armour and weapons can a Rogue use?
Leather. Daggers, one-handed swords, maces and fist weapons; bows, guns, crossbows and thrown.
