Shaman BiS lists for WoW Forever

Shamans were Horde-only in Classic. Forever adds Dwarf shamans, so the Alliance has the class too. In Classic raids most shamans healed, with Restoration chosen for Chain Heal and the group totems that came with it.
The three specs want almost nothing in common: healing, spell damage and two-hander melee. Many searches ask about shaman tanking. Forever has not confirmed it, and there is nothing to gear for until talents are published.

Questions
Can shamans tank in WoW Forever?
Not confirmed. People are searching for it, but Forever has not published shaman talents, and nothing in the beta suggests a tanking spec. This page will say so the day it changes.
Can Alliance play shamans in WoW Forever?
Yes. Forever adds Dwarf shamans, and Windshaper Skyborne can be shamans on the Horde side.
Is there a Shaman BiS list for WoW Forever yet?
No. Raid loot is published with the raids on 9 December 2026 and the level 55–60 dungeon tables are not in the beta. Each spec page carries its stat priority now and gains its item list as each phase is datamined.
