The Drowned City's loot table hasn't been datamined from the Forever beta yet. We'll add every boss and drop here as soon as it is.

How buying works

  1. Step 1

    Choose an offer

Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.

  2. Step 2

    Pay into escrow

Card, handled by Stripe. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.

  3. Step 3

    Get it, then release

Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.

What is actually known

More than the name suggests. The Drowned City is a troll city that sank and has risen again off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale, held by trolls and naga, with pirates in the mix. It was the dungeon Blizzard let people play on the BlizzCon show floor, which makes it the only one of the five higher new dungeons anybody outside Blizzard has been inside. What is not public is a boss list or a loot table: the beta is capped at level 30, five levels short of the door. Guide pages listing its bosses today are inventing them. We are not going to, because the page would be wrong and would stay wrong until someone noticed.

Where 35–40 sits in the climb

This is the band where Classic levelling traditionally slows down and where the original dungeon list gets patchy between the Temple of Atal'Hakkar and the Blackrock instances. A new dungeon here changes the routing of the whole 30–45 stretch, which overlaps The Riverglades — a new zone whose own level range is reported inconsistently across sources at 30–45 or 35–45. Any seller quoting you an exact route through this band before launch is working from beta impressions rather than published data, which is fine as long as they say so.

Booking it sensibly before launch

Pre-launch bookings for this dungeon are worth treating more carefully than for the ones the beta covers. Nobody has run it outside a convention demo, so every delivery estimate before 4 November is an estimate from the level range alone, and an honest seller says so. Book the first clear with its quests rather than a package of reruns: dungeon quests carry the experience in Forever, and how long a clear takes is unknown. Everything else is standard: unique boss items are blue, blueprint recipes drop from dungeon bosses, payment sits in escrow until you confirm the run happened, and nothing about the level range guarantees the instance is short.

Frequently asked questions

Where is The Drowned City in WoW Forever?

Off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale. It is a sunken troll city that has risen from the sea, held by trolls and naga, and it was the playable dungeon at BlizzCon 2026.

What level is The Drowned City?

35–40, published by Blizzard. It is the fifth of the nine new dungeons by level and sits in the band where Classic's own dungeon coverage was thinnest.

Who are the bosses?

Not published. The beta has shown bosses for the lowest new dungeons only, and its level 30 cap stops short of this one. The list will be confirmable after launch on 4 November 2026 and this page will be updated then rather than filled in now.

Should I book it before launch?

You can, and the escrow protects the money either way. Know that nobody has run it in the beta, which stops at level 30, so any delivery time quoted before launch is an estimate — the most common cause of a slipped date on a new instance.

Does it connect to The Riverglades?

No. The Drowned City is on the Stranglethorn coast. The Riverglades, the new zone in roughly the same level band, holds the next new dungeon up: Krol'dok Stronghold at 40–45.
