The level range, settled
You will still see this dungeon listed at 40–55. That figure came out of the BlizzCon reveal and spread through the first wave of coverage. Blizzard corrected it on 15 September 2026 in a forum post that says, in full: "In WoW: Forever, Krol'dok Stronghold will be for levels 40-45." The ten levels are not cosmetic — they decide whether this is a mid-climb instance you run once or an endgame-adjacent one you rerun for gear — so it is worth knowing which number a seller's listing was written against. Anything still quoting 40–55 predates the correction.
What 40–45 means for what you buy
At 40–45 the gear is transitional, so the right purchase is a single clear with every quest collected first. Blizzard moved dungeon experience off the monsters and onto the quests, which makes that first run worth far more than any repeat, and a rerun package only makes sense against a specific drop. Nobody can tell you yet how long a clear takes: the beta is capped at level 30, ten levels short of the door, so a seller quoting a delivery time before launch is estimating. Buy the clear, see the instance, and add runs afterwards rather than pre-paying for a package.
Ogres in The Riverglades
Krol'dok Stronghold is in The Riverglades, the new zone on the east coast of the Eastern Kingdoms between the Redridge Mountains, the Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands. It is an ogre stronghold, and the early descriptions add whispers of a Twilight's Hammer cult behind the walls. The zone is contested, so on the PvP ruleset the trip to the door is part of the job, and listings on that ruleset are priced accordingly. Bosses and quests are not public. The purchasing facts are the same as the rest of the new list: blue unique boss items, blueprint recipes from bosses, escrow until you confirm.
