How buying works
- Step 1
Choose an offer
Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.
- Step 2
Pay into escrow
Card, handled by Stripe. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.
- Step 3
Get it, then release
Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.
Faster travel, slower levels
The mount at 40 makes the world smaller and the experience curve makes each level bigger, and the second effect wins. Forty to fifty takes longer than thirty to forty for almost everybody, which is why buyers often arrive at this bracket having bought none of the earlier ones — they got their mount, assumed the rest would be quicker, and found out otherwise. Seller quotes in this band reflect that honestly: expect the delivery window to be noticeably longer than for a bracket of the same size lower down.
Two new dungeons
Krol'dok Stronghold opens at 40–45, an ogre stronghold in the new Riverglades zone. You will still see it listed at 40–55 in places; that was the figure in early BlizzCon coverage, and Blizzard corrected it on 15 September 2026. Alcaz Prison follows at 48–53, on the island off Dustwallow Marsh where Varian Wrynn was held in Classic's story. Each is worth one clear with every quest collected first, since dungeon quests now carry the experience. Both can be bought separately from this bracket, and a leveling route that includes them will be quoted differently from one that does not.
Where the ruleset bites hardest
The forties are where the PvP ruleset stops being an occasional inconvenience and becomes a scheduling problem. Characters in this band share zones with characters ten levels above them, there is no level scaling to even it out, and a seller running a PvP-ruleset route is building in interruptions. That is a real cost and it belongs in the quote. If you are on Normal or Roleplaying, say so — you should not be paying a PvP-ruleset premium for a route that will never be contested.
Buying the band, not the levels
One practical note on ordering this bracket: name the character's starting level rather than assuming the seller will check. A quote for 40–50 given to a character sitting at 43 is a quote for seven levels, not ten, and the honest sellers will adjust it downward when they find out. The ones who do not will simply finish early. It is a small thing that separates the two groups quite reliably.

Frequently asked questions
Is 40–50 slower than earlier brackets?
Usually yes, despite the mount. The experience needed per level grows faster than travel time shrinks, and this is the band where people who levelled the first forty themselves most often decide to buy the rest.
Which dungeons are in this bracket?
Krol'dok Stronghold at 40–45, in The Riverglades, and Alcaz Prison at 48–53, off Dustwallow Marsh. The 40–55 figure some sites show for Krol'dok is out of date; Blizzard corrected it in September 2026.
Does the PvP ruleset cost more here?
It generally does, and legitimately. With no level scaling, a forties character shares zones with much stronger ones, so a PvP-ruleset route has interruptions built into the estimate.
Should I buy 40–50 and 50–60 together?
If you want both, yes — booked as one job a seller plans one continuous route instead of two, and it is normally cheaper than the two brackets bought separately.
Is self-play practical for ten levels at this speed?
It is what most sellers here offer, and it means evening sessions rather than a handover. If your evenings are the constraint rather than the money, piloted is faster — the trade is that someone else holds your login.
