How buying works
- Step 1
Choose an offer
Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.
- Step 2
Pay into escrow
Card, handled by Stripe. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.
- Step 3
Get it, then release
Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.
The profession with a deadline
Most profession boosts are a convenience. Alchemy has an actual date attached: raids open on 9 December 2026, and every raid group that has ever existed has consumed flasks, elixirs and potions in bulk. A character with alchemy at 300 before that date is either saving themselves a recurring cost or selling into one. That is why alchemy orders on this site cluster heavily in November rather than spreading evenly, and why the sensible finish date to write into an order thread is 'before December' rather than a duration.
Herbalism is not optional in practice
Alchemy consumes herbs continuously, and unlike ore they cannot be bought in convenient stacks from a vendor at any price that makes sense. Levelling herbalism alongside is the standard pairing and most sellers quote the two together for a reason. If you already have a gathering profession you do not want to drop, expect the alchemy quote to include materials cost, and expect that to be the larger half of the number.
Discoveries, recipes and what is not published
A significant part of an alchemist's value in Classic comes from recipes that are not trainer-taught — drops, reputation rewards and vendor finds scattered across the world. Forever adds blueprint recipes dropping from dungeon bosses on top of that, and Blizzard has not published which recipes drop where. So a 1–300 order gets you the skill, not the library, and a seller who promises a specific recipe list should be asked where each one comes from. The honest answer for the blueprint ones, right now, is that nobody knows yet.
The specialisation question
Classic's alchemy has no specialisation split in the way blacksmithing and engineering do, which makes this one of the simpler profession orders to place — there is no irreversible decision waiting halfway through. What there is instead is a long tail of recipes, so if a specific potion or elixir is your goal rather than the skill number, say so before you order and expect it to be quoted as a hunt rather than as a boost.

Frequently asked questions
Why level alchemy before 9 December?
Because that is when the first raid wave opens — The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair — and raid groups consume potions and elixirs continuously. Alchemy at 300 before that date either saves you money or makes you some.
Do I need herbalism too?
In practice yes. Alchemy runs on herbs, they are awkward to buy in bulk, and most sellers quote the pair together because the materials cost otherwise dominates the order.
Does a 1–300 boost include recipes?
It includes the skill level. Many of the valuable recipes are drops, reputation rewards or vendor finds, and Forever's blueprint recipes come from dungeon bosses — those are a separate hunt, priced separately.
Is the cap 300?
300. The beta's Legacy Challenges mark 150, 225 and 300 as the milestones for every crafting profession, and each one is an account-wide Legacy Point.
Can I buy the potions instead of the profession?
Yes — raid consumables are sold as a farming service on this site, which is often the better buy if you want the potions rather than the ability to make them.
