How buying works

  1. Step 1

    Choose an offer

Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.

  2. Step 2

    Pay into escrow

Card, handled by Stripe. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.

  3. Step 3

    Get it, then release

Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.

Not everything is about the raid

Pre-raid best-in-slot work is a specific job against a specific date. Gear farming is the everyday version: a character in the forties with three slots holding quest greens, an alt that needs enough to be functional, a PvP character who wants the dungeon pieces that plug the holes in an honour set. It is the least dramatic service in this category and one of the most-used, because most characters are not raiding and most characters still have two slots letting them down.

Why slot-based pricing is the right structure

The best gear orders name slots because slots are countable and interpretable — 'boots, bracers and a ranged weapon' is something both parties can agree happened. Run-based pricing works when a specific dungeon is the source, but for general upgrades it lets the seller deliver activity rather than outcome. Ask for a slot list, agree what quality counts as filling a slot, and remember that unique dungeon boss items in Forever are blue, which sets the realistic ceiling at any level below the raid tier.

Transmog changes what 'upgrade' means

WoW Forever ships an optional transmog system, which means for the first time in a Classic-style game some gear is wanted for how it looks rather than what it does. That has already produced a small market for runs targeting appearance rather than stats, and it is worth being explicit about which you are buying — a seller optimising for stats will vendor exactly the item a transmog buyer wanted. Say so in the order thread. Blizzard has published that transmog is optional and present; how appearances are collected has not been detailed.

Game facts on this page checked against Blizzard's published details as of 30 September 2026.

Frequently asked questions

How is gear farming priced?

By slot or by run. Slot-based is better for general upgrades because it is an outcome both sides can verify; run-based makes sense when one specific dungeon is the source.

How good can dungeon gear get?

Unique dungeon boss items in WoW Forever are blue rather than purple, which sets the ceiling below the raid tier at every level. That is the realistic expectation to set before ordering.

Can I farm gear for transmog?

Yes — Forever includes an optional transmog system, and there is a small market for appearance-focused runs. Say which you want, because a stats-focused seller will vendor the item a transmog buyer wanted.

Is this the same as pre-raid BiS farming?

No. Pre-raid BiS is a specific list against the 9 December 2026 raid opening. Gear farming is general slot upgrading at any level, with no deadline attached.

What counts as a slot being filled?

Agree it in writing before you pay — a minimum item quality or a named item. It is the one ambiguity that makes an otherwise clean slot-based order go wrong.
