How buying works

  1. Step 1

    Choose an offer

Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.

  2. Step 2

    Pay into escrow

PayPal or card, handled by PayPal. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.

  3. Step 3

    Get it, then release

Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.

A lot of Rugged Leather

Leatherworking's top end is hungry. Our guide's route spends more Rugged Leather than anything else in the kit, with Thick Leather close behind, because the Artisan patterns that still give points in Forever use it by the dozen: Wicked Leather Gauntlets, Frostsaber Boots and Runic Leather Headbands. The kit is built from that route, so its counts are what those crafts consume, with cured hides counted back to the hides they are made from.

Frostsaber Leather and Runecloth

Two lines surprise people. Frostsaber Leather came only from skinning the frostsabers of Winterspring in Classic, and the Frostsaber Boots the route makes need it; Runecloth is in a leatherworking kit because the Runic Leather Headbands that finish the route call for it. Both are here in full. Salt, thread and dye are not: they are vendor goods, about 53 gold across the whole route, and the guide lists each one.

Skinning becomes optional

Leatherworking is usually paired with skinning because buying leather in these quantities is slow and dear. The kit removes that reason. Keep a gathering profession that earns on its own, or take a second crafting one, and let the kit do the part skinning would have done. The route in the guide is the same either way.

Specialise when you are ready

Leatherworking splits three ways in Classic, Dragonscale, Elemental and Tribal, from 225 skill, and like every specialisation it is easier to choose for yourself than to explain to someone piloting your character. The route in the guide does not depend on which you pick, so the kit works for all three, and you make the call at the trainer when the quest opens up.

Frequently asked questions

How much leather is in the kit?

Are salt, thread and dye included?

No. They are vendor goods, about 53 gold for the whole route, and the guide lists each one.

Do I still need skinning?

Not for the route. The kit covers what skinning would have supplied.

Does anyone need my login?

No. The kit is mailed to the character you name at checkout, on your faction.

When will I get it?

Work starts at WoW Forever's launch on 4 November 2026, inside the delivery window on the listing. The money stays in escrow until you confirm.
