How buying works

  1. Step 1

    Choose an offer

Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.

  2. Step 2

    Pay into escrow

PayPal or card, handled by PayPal. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.

  3. Step 3

    Get it, then release

Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.

Eight ingredients nobody sells

Cooking is cheap but slow, because its ingredients drop from particular animals or come off a fishing line, and no vendor stocks them. The route in our guide uses eight: Small Eggs and Coyote Meat early, then Boar Ribs, Buzzard Wings and Giant Eggs, then Tangy Clam Meat, Raw Nightfin Snapper and Raw Winter Squid at the top. The kit is all eight, in the counts the route cooks.

What you still do yourself

Spices and the other vendor goods, about 2 gold for the route. The Expert Cookbook, a 1 gold book from Shandrina in Ashenvale or Wulan in Desolace. And the quest Clamlette Surprise from Dirge Quikcleave in Gadgetzan, which is how Artisan Cooking is learned: it asks for Giant Eggs, Zesty Clam Meat and Alterac Swiss of its own, which the kit does not cover.

Why cooking matters more in Forever

Forever's camping system runs on cooking: the campfire kits a camp is built around are cooking crafts, from the Basic Campfire Kit at skill 1 to the Iron Oven at 300. That makes cooking one of the first professions worth finishing on a new character, and the guide's camp section lists every camp object and the skill it needs.

Fishing helps, but is not required

The top of the route is fish: Nightfin Snapper and Winter Squid are caught, not looted, which is why cooks usually take fishing alongside. The kit includes both, so you can level cooking without ever casting a line, and keep fishing for the feasts and buff food you will want at 60 rather than for skill points.
