How buying works
- Step 1
Choose an offer
Compare verified sellers on price, rate and delivery window. Every seller here was approved by staff before they could list.
- Step 2
Pay into escrow
Card, handled by Stripe. The money is held by us — the seller can see the order is funded and nothing more.
- Step 3
Get it, then release
Talk to the seller in your order thread. Nothing reaches them until you confirm the work is done.
Paired professions are cheaper than the sum of their parts
Levelling blacksmithing on bought ore is expensive. Levelling mining and blacksmithing together is not, because the gathering half produces the crafting half's input as it goes. The same is true of herbalism and alchemy, skinning and leatherworking, mining and engineering. A profession package prices that efficiency in, which is why it is usually the largest genuine saving of any bundle on this site — the discount is not a marketing gesture, it is the materials bill disappearing.
Which pair, and why it is not reversible
Two primary profession slots is all anyone gets, and swapping later means levelling from scratch again. So the pair matters more than the speed. Blacksmithing and engineering want mining; alchemy wants herbalism; leatherworking wants skinning; tailoring needs no gatherer at all, which is why it so often sits with enchanting. If you are not certain, an hour of class coaching before you commit is cheaper than a second profession boost afterwards.
The Legacy System angle
Increasing Tradeskills is one of the six published Legacy Challenge categories, and the Legacy System includes a dedicated Professions tree among its three. Legacy progression is account-wide: 65 points earnable at launch, 16 spendable per character, carrying across Normal, PvP and Roleplaying. So profession work done on one character contributes to a pool your whole roster draws on. The individual perks in that tree have not been published, so treat any seller quoting specific profession bonuses as speculating.
Secondary professions, and the raid calendar
Cooking, fishing and first aid cost no profession slot and are frequently thrown into a profession package for very little. They are also the three most often forgotten before a raid opening, and the first raid wave lands on 9 December 2026. If you are already buying a package, adding them is close to free and removes three small chores from a December checklist.

Frequently asked questions
Why level professions in pairs?
Because the gathering half produces the crafting half's materials as it goes. That is where the saving comes from — it is the materials bill disappearing rather than a marketing discount.
Which professions pair together?
Mining with blacksmithing or engineering, herbalism with alchemy, skinning with leatherworking. Tailoring needs no gatherer, which is why it usually sits alongside enchanting instead.
Can I change professions later?
Only by levelling from scratch again. You get two primary slots, which is why the choice of pair matters more than the delivery speed.
Does the Legacy System reward professions?
Increasing Tradeskills is a published Legacy Challenge category and there is a confirmed Professions tree. The individual perks have not been detailed, so no seller can tell you what they do.
Are secondary professions included?
Cooking, fishing and first aid do not use a profession slot and are cheap to add. Ask — they are often bundled at little extra cost and often forgotten.
