Questions buyers ask

Is Onyxia's Lair in WoW Forever?

Yes — it returns as a 40-player raid in the first wave, unlocking 9 December 2026 alongside The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit.

Is the Onyxia fight the same as in Classic?

Unconfirmed. The raid returns, but Blizzard has not published boss mechanics, loot tables or lockout rules for Forever. The three-phase fight players know is Classic's version, and 'returning' does not guarantee 'identical'.

Do I need an attunement quest first?

Not announced. Classic gated Onyxia behind a long attunement chain ending in the Drakefire Amulet; whether Forever keeps it is unknown. If a listing includes attunement, ask what they are basing it on.

Why is a 40-player carry more expensive?

Because thirty-nine other people have to turn up on a specific date. The cost is roster and scheduling, not difficulty — Onyxia is the best-understood boss in this wave by a wide margin.

Product features

How a raid carry actually runs

1
Reserve your seat
Lock in a seat or a full clear ahead of the unlock — opening week fills first, and a booked slot holds your place.
2
Clear it with the team
Join the scheduled run. Loot priority is whatever you agreed in the thread beforehand, in writing.
3
Confirm and collect
Release payment once the clear — and any loot you were promised — actually happened.
