The honest position
Blizzard has confirmed that WoW Forever will have a Hardcore ruleset arriving after the 4 November 2026 launch, and has not announced when. Until it exists there is no Hardcore economy, no Hardcore characters and no way for any seller to deliver gold on it. If you find a site advertising Hardcore gold with a delivery estimate today, the estimate is fiction. This page exists so that people searching for it land on an accurate answer rather than on a pre-order for a ruleset with no date.
What is known about Hardcore in Forever
Two things beyond the timing. It is one of the four rulesets in a realmless game, alongside Normal, PvP and Roleplaying — you choose a ruleset rather than a server. And Legacy progression flows out of Hardcore but not into it: work done on a Hardcore character contributes Legacy Points to your account, while points earned elsewhere cannot be spent on a Hardcore character. Everything else, including whether gold behaves differently there, is unannounced.
What you can do instead
Nothing on this page, honestly. If you want gold now, the EU and US offers on the main gold market are live. If you specifically want Hardcore, the useful thing is to wait for the announcement — and to note that gold buying breaches Blizzard's terms of service on every ruleset, with the consequences on a Hardcore character being considerably more final than elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy Hardcore gold in WoW Forever?
No. The Hardcore ruleset arrives after the 4 November 2026 launch and Blizzard has not announced a date, so there is no Hardcore economy for anyone to deliver into.
When does Hardcore launch?
Unannounced. Blizzard has confirmed it is coming after launch and has given no date. Anyone quoting one is guessing.
Does Legacy progress work on Hardcore?
Partly. Legacy progress flows out of Hardcore into your account but cannot flow in — points earned elsewhere are not spendable on a Hardcore character.
Why keep a page for something unavailable?
Because people search for it, and an accurate 'not yet' is more useful than a pre-order page for a ruleset with no date.
